Jodie Werder

With more than 25 years of business experience gained domestically and internationally, and expert knowledge in leadership, talent management and organisational development, Jodie has worked with and coached executives and their teams across a range of sectors including professional and financial services, engineering and project management, technology, aviation, private investment and government.

She has previously held senior HR leadership, business partnering and consulting roles in organisations in Australia, Singapore and the UK.

In these roles, Jodie has built and led high performing teams across a range of disciplines and partnered with executives and business leaders striving to enhance team engagement and performance against a backdrop of complex business and culture change agendas. Highlights include developing and leading talent and leadership strategies in support of large-scale business optimisation programs (Virgin Australia) and the most ambitious superannuation fund merger in Australian history (Australian Retirement Trust).

Subsequently, Jodie has built her own professional coaching business, blending leadership coaching and specialist ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) coaching.

Qualifications

Jodie holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Queensland, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from the University of Southern Queensland.

She is a certified Leadership and Organisational Coach with the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL), and a certified ADHD Coach with the ADD Coach Academy, and is an accredited practitioner with the Hogan suite of profiling tools for individuals and teams along with the California Psychological Inventory (CPI). Jodie is a member of the International Coach Federation and the Australian ADHD Professionals Association.

Personal Insights

Jodie is married with two highly creative, generous and spontaneous teenagers and two golden retrievers that help keep the family grounded. She has a passion for learning, and loves running, travel, beach and bush walks, and time with family and friends sharing good food and great conversations.
