Experience and background

Scott has held Director, Chairman, CEO, COO and CFO roles across public companies, private equity-backed organisations and privately owned businesses. He has worked across Asia-Pacific, the US and the Middle East, leading organisations in complex, multi-market environments.

Across his career, he has guided businesses through growth and transformation, including digital, cultural and structural change. He has worked across sectors such as mining, manufacturing, property, automotive, building materials, industrial products, distribution, wine, FMCG, agriculture, aviation and family offices. As a result, his experience is grounded in strategy and execution, customer-led growth, and aligning organisations to deliver performance.

At both board and executive level, Scott brings a strong understanding of strategy, governance, stakeholder dynamics and decision-making under pressure. In addition, he places emphasis on ethics, teamwork and innovation, creating environments where communication, engagement and customer focus support performance.

Scott's approach

Scott works with CEOs, senior executives and emerging leaders across a range of sectors. He is motivated by helping people grow and supporting leaders in navigating complexity with confidence.

His coaching approach combines structure, curiosity and practical insight. He challenges leaders to think more deeply about their role, leadership style and decisions. Through open, probing questions, he helps leaders test their thinking, consider alternatives and build clarity.

At the same time, he brings a practical perspective from his executive and board experience into coaching and mentoring conversations, supporting leaders as they work through real business challenges.

His work focuses on strengthening strategic clarity, leadership effectiveness and the ability to lead through change. Over time, leaders he works with develop clearer thinking, a more deliberate approach to leadership and stronger alignment between their role, their organisation’s strategy and how they lead.

Qualifications and memberships

  • Bachelor of Business with a major in Accounting from Swinburne University
  • Fellowships of CPA Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
  • Scott is a Certified Organisational Coach (Level 1) with IECL.
  • Member of  International Coaching Federation 2024
  • Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with ICF

Personal insights

Born in Crookwell, New South Wales, and having experienced both country and urban life, Scott brings a broad perspective to his work.

Outside his professional roles, his interests include family, travel, art and sport. His multicultural background, including a Spanish family, adds a global dimension to his thinking about leadership, with an emphasis on inclusivity, empathy and authenticity.  Other than his wife, his other passion is Pickleball.
