Lynn Rasmussen

Lynn has over 35 years experience in executive development, talent and succession management, leadership and culture.

Over that time, Lynn has provided career and development coaching to a wide range of leaders from first managers through to senior executives. She has designed leadership development initiatives including General Manager transition, high potential young leader, and women in leadership programs.

Lynn’s executive development knowledge and experience has been gained through senior talent management positions at Westpac Banking Corporation. In her most recent roles, she had responsibility for enterprise-wide talent strategy, senior talent reviews and succession planning, as well as General Manager onboarding, development and 360 feedback.

Approach

Lynn is deeply interested in helping leaders develop their leadership potential, not only for themselves and their organisations, but also for the good of others. Her focus is on listening, facilitating understanding of critical career experiences, and providing honest, constructive feedback. She is suited to working with emerging and senior leaders.

Qualifications

Lynn holds a Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Education from Macquarie University. She is an IECL accredited coach and has accreditations in tools and diagnostics including Hogan Leadership Series.

Personal Insights

Lynn is a member of the Jawun Stories of Female Leaders (SOFL) network. Jawun is a not-for-profit organisation which brings First Nations people together with corporate, government and philanthropic organisations, to enable Indigenous-led development agendas. SOFL aims to develop an Indigenous leadership pipeline by connecting Indigenous and Corporate female leaders through mentoring and leadership programs.

Lynn is married with a son, daughter and two grandsons, and enjoys family time, reading, gardening and walking.
