Experience and background
Lauren is an accomplished leadership strategist, executive coach and skilled facilitator. She works with CEOs, C-suite executives, managers and their teams. With more than 25 years of experience, she supports organisations in strengthening effectiveness, improving talent management, and building leadership capability. In addition, she brings strong commercial acumen, executive leadership experience and corporate governance exposure. Over this time, she has also developed deep cross-cultural expertise through 15 years of living and working in Singapore.
Throughout her career, Lauren has held senior leadership roles with Microsoft and Credit Suisse. She served as APAC Director of People and Organisational Development at Credit Suisse, Regional Head of the IT Institute Asia Pacific, and Global Programme Leader at BHP Billiton. She has also led major transformation initiatives as Project Change and Communications Lead at Rio Tinto. Beyond corporate roles, Lauren is the Founding Director of Breakthru Leadership Pte Ltd, operating across Asia Pacific. She is also a co-founder of two start-up companies based in Singapore.
Lauren's approach
Lauren works with Managing Directors, Chief Functional Leaders (including CIOs, CTOs, CMOs, CPOs and CFOs), as well as SVPs, VPs, Directors and Managers. In addition, she supports leadership teams across a wide range of sectors. These include telecommunications, financial services, ICT, professional services, healthcare, investing and insurance, retail, global resources, manufacturing and FMCG. She also delivers C-suite programs for Eruditus Executive Education, UUM OYA Graduate School of Business and NUS Graduate School of Business.
As a founding member of Peter Senge’s Society of Organisational Learning, Lauren brings a strong systems perspective to her work. In practice, she partners with clients to co-create pragmatic and holistic solutions that support healthier people and more effective organisations. In her approach, she demonstrates deep listening and maintains an open, energetic and non-judgmental style built on trust and transparency. At the same time, her mission is to help clients create, shape and reinvent futures that deliver both success and fulfilment. She brings creativity and agility to execution and is energised by exploring “what if?” and co-creating the path forward.

Personal insights
Preceding her corporate life, she enjoyed a welcome sojourn as a professional squash player and long-distance runner. She co-manages a small farm in the rural countryside of New South Wales, Australia with her partner and soul mate. When not in Singapore, she enjoys the company and temperaments of a small herd of Alpacas – who always provide a welcome challenge, balance, and provocation to her corporate life perspective.
