Experienced Coach and Corporate Leader
Jean is an Executive Coach to C-Suite executives, senior leaders, business owners and executives in global MNCs, banks, public accounting firms, health and educational institutions. Key clients include DBS, AIA, Maybank, KPMG, LUMILEDS, NSK, Epson, FMCT, Shiseido, Thales & Design Council Singapore.
She started as an external auditor with PWC for 5 years followed by a distinguished career in Banking & Finance for the next 20 years, having held senior positions in UBS and subsequently at Credit Suisse and RBSCoutts Bank Limited. Her areas of experience and expertise include Strategy & Planning, Business & Change Management, Finance, People Development and Communications.
Approach
Jean draws from her corporate experiences in her coaching engagements. She leverages on specific profiling tools to help clients with heightening their self-awareness and thereby enabling them to sharpen their strengths and work on the developmental opportunities. She also focuses on supporting her clients with stakeholder relations through third party interviews and feedback. Jean lends deep discernment to her clients’ issues while challenging and supporting them, determined to see her clients consistently achieve coaching outcomes by following through on coaching goals and commitments. Qualifications
Jean has been an executive coach since 2015. She first completed the Solution Focused Brief Coaching Training (PURE, PLUS, PRO) program in May 2016 and was accorded the Certified Solution Focused Coach (CSFC) under the Canadian Council of Professional Certification and recognised by University of Toronto (UOT). In 2018, Jean was conferred the designation of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Jean is currently the Co-Chair of“Coaching & Mentoring”, a Special Interest Group under Institute for Adult Learning Singapore (IAL). Their mission is to provide a platform for aspiring and existing coaches to share ideas, perspectives and experiences to strengthen their coaching practice. Jean is also a mentor to her junior colleagues. Jean graduated with a Bachelor of Economics with Macquarie University, Australia and is a Certified Practising Accountant with CPA Australia.
Personal Insights
For leisure, Jean loves to travel and being exposed to new places, people and cultures. She reads widely as well both for interest as well as to stay relevant for her clients.
