Experience and background
Jane is a global leadership and transformational coach, trainer, and facilitator focusing on intercultural competence, DEI, sustainability, and well-being. Born in Taipei and raised bilingually in the United States, Jane has had nearly 25 years’ experience living and working in global, multicultural contexts, in Tokyo, Paris, Boston, New York City, San Francisco, and Taipei.
After holding senior leadership roles in global marketing and business development at organisations ranging from Hitachi in Tokyo to American SMEs and publicly listed Taiwanese firms, Jane transitioned into coaching, training and facilitation. For more than a decade, she has worked with executives and teams from Fortune 500 companies on global leadership, intercultural communication, multicultural team-building and inclusive leadership. In addition, she supports leaders and organisations to create futures that prioritise well-being.
Jane's approach
As a coach empowering conscious leadership, Jane helps her clients become aware of and transcend paradigms, judgments, and emotional triggers. This helps them to embody wisdom, lead in complex contexts, and unlock the unique power and potential they carry in life and leadership.
Qualifications and memberships
- Bachelor Degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley
- Masters Degree in International Affairs and Business from The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University
- Professional Certified Coach (PCC), International Coaching Federation (ICF)
- Graduate of International Coach Academy
- Certifications in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), in Permaculture Design (PDC), and in community counselling from the Teacher Chang Foundation
- Jane has received the Cartus’ Service Excellence Award three times
- Qualified to facilitate the Climate Fresk and the Biodiversity Collage
- Jane has native fluency in English and Mandarin, and advanced proficiency in Japanese.
