RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Steve is an accomplished Chief Executive and experienced Director with over 40 years of learning spread across a broad set of technical and business roles.
Steve’s career has mainly been within the steel, materials and construction supply industries. He has experience across supply chains from retail to wholesale and onto manufacturing.
His retail experience has brought skills in designing and implementing market and customer back strategies and processes to deliver value, including defining and delivering competitive advantage.
From early in his career, Steve has led large teams of people. His career began with a range of technical leadership roles including engineering, process improvement, statistical methodologies maintenance and IT. These roles were then complimented by experience in change management programs such as TQC, Lean, Organisational Development and Strategic Planning.
Over the past 25 years, Steve’s career has seen him undertake executive business leadership roles with full P&L and Balance Sheet accountabilities across major business portfolios.
Across his entire career Steve has been involved with developing and leading high-performance safety programs and cultures with many significant achievements.
Steve’s non-executive Director experience includes listed, private, industry associations and not-for-profit organisations. He has extensive experience with both Chair and committee membership roles.
Steve has now joined the Stephenson Mansell Group to further his passion for helping people develop and reach their potential.
