Peter has extensive experience in the construction and Engineering sectors in senior executive positions including Managing Director of Public companies and Chairman of a number of other organizations both listed, private, NFP and Government Corporations. With over 40 years in industry he has been involved in Industrial, transport, utilities, defence, health and justice sectors.
At Transfield Services now known as Broadspectrum, , Peter was initially commercial manager, moving through to become CEO and Managing Director. He was responsible for diversifying the organization across various sectors and taking the company international into 11 countries. On retirement in 2009 the company employed more than 30,00 people Horwath.
Core to Peter’s philosophy was in initiating process to drive performance , understand the importance of customer service and the development of leaders within the business.
As an Executive Mentor for SMG, Peter has worked with senior executives across the C-Suite in organizations such as Asahi, Boral, NBN, the Health care sector and Power generation sectors in Australia and NZ.

Peter is a civil Engineer from Caulfield Institute of technology an Alumni of Monash University, a graduate of University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Advanced Management Program and a participant at Leadership at the Peak at CCL.
Peter is married with 2 adult children and 4 grandchildren. He Is a passionate AFL supporter is focussed on fitness, good living and his sustainable farm outside of Melbourne.
