Having worked with Paul as a coach for over a year, I can’t recommend him highly enough. Coaching is a skill that few master, fewer do it as naturally and with the disarming ease that Paul exhibits.
He’s an experienced businessman, pragmatic in his own approach, and he uses his conversational skills to work with a client to coach and guide them in a relaxed, and non-confrontational manner. Love working with him.”
Paul has been professionally coaching since 2009 and been consulting in the people and leadership space for over 20 years. During this time Paul has coached 100’s of staff and coachees from C-Suite and business leaders to middle managers. Paul’s industry experience ranges from Banking and Finance to Government to Engineering and Industrial to Technology and Professional Services to Education.
Paul has over 25 years of commercial experience in Europe, Asia and Australia within senior leadership roles. In addition to working for large corporates, Paul is a serial entrepreneur having established, managed and grown numerous multi-million dollar businesses throughout Australia, APAC and the UK.
He has successfully led large sales teams, has held Managing Director roles and has managed and lead 100’s of staff over the past two decades. As Senior Partner and a key leader on SMG’s executive team, Paul’s focus is on business development strategy and client service management and development.
Paul has a natural energy and enthusiasm and combines this with a friendly but professional manner. He employs a supportive but challenging style of coaching which lends coachees to know that they are going to be tested but remain in a safe environment. Paul’s passion is obvious and infectious but he still able to give the counterpart the space they need to think and reflect.
Paul has an Honours Degree in Business Studies, is a Level 3 Accredited Organisational Coach (IECL), has an ICCP Diploma in Coaching Psychology (University of Sydney), has a Postgraduate Diploma in Positive Coaching Psychology (UTS – where he is an Industry Fellow and Lecturer) and is a Certified Practitioner in Personal Profile Analysis (Thomas International).
When Paul is not involved in high-stakes, complex negotiations with his teenage children, he loves to read classic and contemporary literature and train in his home gym.
