Kerrie brings over 30 years’ experience in leadership and executive roles in the public and private sectors, working in various industries: law, banking and financial services, transport, manufacturing, and health; across corporates, governments, family businesses, professional associations, and law firms.

Over 12 years, working in Australia and the UK, Kerrie led 5 organisations as CEO, and has more than 10 years’ experience on public and private sector boards.  Since 2010, Kerrie has pursued a portfolio of interests including: company directorships, strategy consulting, and working professionally as an executive coach and mentor to APAC executives.

Kerrie first practised law with Rigby & Fielding as a commercial lawyer, later becoming an Associate Partner at M John Kelly & Sons.  She then joined ANZ Executors & Trustee Company Ltd as a corporate lawyer and was later promoted to General Counsel.  Kerrie’s career then transitioned to senior line management roles, first within ANZ Banking Group.

Kerrie has held various executive and leadership positions, with strategy and P&L responsibilities, including: Interim CEO, Australian Physiotherapy Council (2013); Director General, Association of British Insurers (2010); Executive Director and CEO, Insurance Council of Australia (2006-2010); CEO, Financial Planning Association of Australia (2003-2006); National Executive, ASX Perpetual Registrars Ltd (2001-2003); National Director, Trustee Corporations Association (1997-2001); Director, Corporate Secretariat, Roads & Traffic Authority (NSW) and Strategy Manager, Northern Region (1993-1997).


  • Council of Legal Education [Supreme Court of Victoria] (1978) – admitted as barrister & solicitor Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia (1979).
  • Professional Certified Coach, International Coach Federation
  • SMG accredited executive coach – Levels 1-3.
  • Certificate IV in Workplace and Business Coaching (2017)
  • Certificate in Executive Coaching [Institute of Psychology, Sydney University] (2012)
  • Various diagnostic tools including: TLC, Hogan, Genos EI


Kerrie is currently Chair of The Children’s Tumour Foundation.

Previously, Kerrie has been a non-executive director of a range of organisations including: Rockend Technology (Chair), HSBC Bank Australia, Financial Literacy Advisory Board, Financial Ombudsman Service, Finance Industry Council of Australia, National Finance Industry Training Advisory Body, Westmead Institute for Medical Research and Westmead Medical Research Foundation (President) (WMRF).  She also served on HSBC Bank Australia’s Audit Committee and WMRF’s Finance & Risk Committee.

She was also a Member of the NSW & ACT Advisory Council for Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA)
