Rupert Bryce

Rupert is a career executive coach and registered psychologist with over 20 years’ experience in developing leaders in organisations. He is currently working with CEOs and senior executives of publicly listed companies and throughout his career as a coach has worked with over half of the ASX Top 50. Rupert is the Managing Director and Founder of Performance Strategies, a leadership development consulting firm specialising in creating a coaching culture and capability through coaching skills for leadership.

Rupert provides development programs for organisations that include running mentoring programs, executive coaching and facilitating workshops on topics that help individuals, teams and organisations improve productivity, performance and organisational culture.

Approach

Rupert’s approach and methodology builds self awareness and behavioural insights that lead to changes on the job, leading to improved effectiveness and impact. Rupert has significant practical experience to help clients overcome stumbling blocks and self-limiting behaviours in the workplace. Rupert is able to draw on evidence-based psychological tools such as solution focused coaching to build thinking skills, insight and self-awareness in his clients. Recent assignment outcomes have included coaching for executive and C-Level leaders, transitions from technical to leadership roles, developing strategic thinking capacity, personal insight and self-sustaining behavioural change.

Qualifications

Rupert holds a Masters of Organisational Psychology, Bachelor of Psychology, Rupert has formal coaching qualifications from the University of Queensland (Masters Thesis on the effectiveness of coaching published in 2005), the University of Sydney – multiple courses with Dr Anthony Grant and Dr Michael Cavanagh, School of Coaching Psychology; coach training workshops with ICF and Formal coaching accreditations. As a registered psychologist, Rupert is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
