EXPERTISE / SPECIALISATIONS
- Leading in Complexity and Change, Strategy and Transformation.
- Engineering/Infrastructure, Development and Environment.
- Private and Government
Lesley has over 35 years professional experience, with extensive executive leadership and company director roles. She has particular expertise in enterprise wide change and transformation, and business leadership in complex and dynamic environments, nationally and internationally.
After several years in government, Lesley joined an emerging professional services organization and for 30 years, ‘was shaped and helped shape’ the business as it transformed into a global organisation.
Her leadership journey followed a “very unplanned” career path including operations, major capital works delivery, strategy, global group management, and ultimately, the Board of Directors. Reflective of her leadership skills, Lesley was seconded to government, supporting the delivery of over $3B of critical infrastructure.
Lesley is a passionate advocate of preparing leaders who thrive in complexity and disruption, embrace challenge and diversity, are mindful of the influence and shadow they cast, and are both courageous and humble.
Lesley attributes her pragmatic approach to business and leadership to her rural upbringing, where resourcefulness and adaptiveness was a necessity in an unpredictable environment.
She attributes her passion for coaching and leadership excellence to the ‘gift’ of lifelong learning and development.

WORKING WITH LESLEY MORRIS
“Lesley’s extensive executive leadership experience and insights prompted many a light bulb moment. I hadn’t expected a learning experience that was both a delight and at times, confronting. She inspired the courage to be the ‘real me’, not to fear failure, and embrace complexity and uncertainty”.
“I found Lesley’s soft and sometimes direct style gave me courage to be truthful to myself, explore helpful and unhelpful aspects of my leadership, and understand the influence and impact I have (good and bad) as a leader. Above all, the experience created freedom to be the ‘real me’ and generated a sense of purpose and meaning as a leader, colleague, and team member”.
