Dr Karen Morley brings an impressive 20 year track record in leadership to her executive coaching role, including extensive senior leadership experience, national leadership research, and the design and delivery of transformational organisational leadership projects.

Karen has held senior roles with major P&L responsibility; an understanding of the realities that drive good business outcomes underpins her work with leaders. Karen’s recent executive roles with the Melbourne Business School include serving as Head of Mt Eliza’s Executive Education & Centre for Leadership for Social Impact. During her tenure, the School significantly exceeded revenue targets and attained its largest client in a multimillion dollar global project.

Karen produced the Australian ‘Leadership Index’ annually for five years and her doctorate identified the qualities for senior leadership success. In 2008, she participated in Harvard’s master class program “The Art and Practice of Leadership” and she was also a member of the AFR BOSS True Leaders panel.

Karen’s coaching approach is informed by a contemporary business understanding and is focused on harnessing leadership capability. Her coaching helps executives drive transformational change by developing greater insights into who they are and exploring the forces that impede change.

Karen has a substantial track record as a facilitator and psychologist working with senior executives and their teams to increase leadership effectiveness. Organisations she has worked with include: Aconex, Alfred Health, ANZSOG, Australian Vice Chancellors’ Committee, Aviva, BHP Billiton, BT Finance, Coles, Committee for Melbourne, CSL, Dept of Education & Training, Dept of Justice, DIIRD, DISR, GM Holden, Hanover Welfare Services, KPMG, Lendlease, Lumleys, Office of Public Sector Merit & Equity and TAC.
